Information Technology
Pierce County Information Technology supports a wide range of technology services for Pierce County employees, departments and Pierce County citizens.

Juvenile Court
Pierce County Juvenile Court is responsible for the provision of probation, court, detention and adoption services.

Law Library
Pierce County Law Library provides legal information services to the bench, bar, state and local governments and the public to assist them in their efforts to use the legal system effectively.

Medical Examiner
The Medical Examiner's Office investigates those deaths occurring in Pierce County which are under their jurisdiction and are of concern to public health, safety and welfare to determine the cause and manner of death.

Parks & Recreation
Pierce County Parks and Recreation provides information to the public regarding community events, venue rentals, recreational sports programs, and county-owned parks, trails, and faculties.

Pierce County Television (PCTV) creates and manages government access programming. Programming includes gavel-to-gavel meeting coverage, locally produced material, and original news and magazine shows.

Planning & Land Services
Planning and Land Services manages community planning, zoning, public hearings, land parcels, environmental factors, and applications and permits.

Prosecuting Attorney
The Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney's Office serves our community by pursuing justice, representing the people and serving our community.

Public Works
Public Works provides several services to Pierce County residents. They manage roads, the ferry system, the airport, surface water, solid waste, the sewer utility, and public development.

Risk Management
Risk Management reviews all contracts entered into by the county and is responsible for the investigation and settlement or denial of claims and lawsuits filed against Pierce County.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department provides information about crime prevention, reporting, sex offenders, the jail system, and various units and divisions.

Superior Court
Pierce County Superior Court is responsible for ensuring a timely and impartial resolution to legal disputes, and provides information regarding case scheduling, court services, and legal forms.

Sustainability 2020
The Pierce County Office of Sustainability works to establish, coordinate and measure the effectiveness of initiatives that improve sustainable practices in the county government.

Veterans Bureau
The Pierce County Veterans Bureau provides emergency assistance with food, rent and utilities to qualified indigent veterans and family members.
